Third Wednesdays

The River Basin Center hosts a social on the third Wednesday of every month at 4:00 pm during the academic year. Sometimes these are accompanied by discussions built around a topical water-oriented theme (we call these RBC Symposia) and sometimes they are just opportunities to chat with colleagues and enjoy snacks and refreshments.

The RBC also co-sponsors speakers at the Odum School of Ecology and the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources.

Spring Semester 2019 Topics:

January Jake Maas on the Oconee River Greenway

February Gil Rogers on the ACT, Georgia’s Other Water War

March Bill Sapp of the SELC on Waters of the US

April No 3rd Wednesday due to the Georgia Water Resources Conference
