In 2007 and 2008, the River Basin Center worked on coastal stormwater issues centering on the development of a supplement to the Georgia Stormwater Management Manual (GSMM).
Also available is a spreadsheet to ensure a project’s consistency with the Coastal Stormwater Supplement.
RBC and its partners on the coast also developed a guidebook for creating a stormwater utility for coastal communities:
Stormwater Utility Handbook: A Step-by-Step Guide to Establishing a Utility in Coastal Georgia, Sept. 2008, Timothy L. Carter. Funding for this report was provided in part by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division, through a grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency under the provisions of Section 319(h) of the Federal Clean Water Act of 1987, as amended.
