Can Vatandaslar is Associate Prof. of Forest Management at the Artvin Coruh University (Turkey). He is currently conducting postdoctoral research on the sustainability aspects of the US and Turkey’s forest plans at the University of Georgia (UGA). Other research interests include LiDAR-based forest inventories, characterization of forest ecosystem services, and water-borne soil erosion modeling.
