The OSE Graduate Student Organization is organizing the 4th Annual 5K run/walk to honor John Spencer and to have an opportunity to come together to remember our friend and colleague.
The run will take place on Saturday, February 1st starting at 9:00 AM. The race will start by the S-14 parking lot adjacent to the Carlton Street Parking Deck (~125 Smith Road, Athens, GA 30602), and will wind through the UGA campus. Family, friends, kids, dogs, are all welcome to attend!
There is a $10 suggested donation to participate. All funds raised through the race will go to the UGA River Basin Center’s John Spencer Research Grants, which is a program that supports graduate student research with small grants up to $2000. You can either:
- Bring cash to the race,
- Venmo Kelsey at @kelsey-solomon (indicate “RBC Spencer Grant” in comments), or
