David Radcliffe

Professor Emeritus
College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences

  • (706) 542-0897

Dr. Radcliffe’s research involves water movement and nutrient, sediment, and bacteria transport in agricultural and urban systems and at the field and watershed scale. His work combines field measurements and modeling studies. Recent work has shown that septic systems increase stream nitrogen and bacteria concentrations in dense suburban environments near Atlanta. His current work is focused on determining the sources of nutrients and bacteria in streams on the UGA campus and in Athens as part of the Watershed UGA effort. Dr. Radcliffe works part-time after retiring at the end of 2018.
