We are excited to announce a new funding program for undergraduate students to attend the 2025 Georgia Water Resources Conference (GWRC) at a significantly subsidized rate of $25. This initiative is made possible with the generous support of our sponsors, and we hope it will increase the conference’s accessibility, particularly for students from Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Our goal is to create a more inclusive space at GWRC 2025, fostering greater engagement from underrepresented communities in water resources research and policy.
To apply, students must complete the application form below. The application deadline is January 31, 2025. We have a limited number of these subsidized registrations available.
Submissions will be reviewed and decisions will be communicated to students and the person coordinating their visit to GWRC by February 7, 2025. Approved students will then receive a link to complete their registrations.
